Photo upload help for Rouxbe-graded assignments

To upload your photos and descriptions for Rouxbe instructor-graded activities, please follow the instructions below.

STEP ONE: Capture photos on your phone or similar device; then, email the photos to yourself.

Below is a short video on how to do this. The video is not narrated, but it does have captions (Click the arrow on the image to play). To enlarge the video, click the icon at the lower right of the image.

STEP TWO: Retrieve the photos from the email you sent to yourself and save them to the computer/device you use to access your course (accepted file formats are .png, .jpg, .gif, .tiff or .heic).

STEP THREE: Once you have transferred your photos, locate the photo upload section near the bottom of the Task page.

STEP FOUR: For Photo 1, click the button that says "Choose File." Select the photo from your device, and, depending on your computer's operating software, press "return" or "open." Return to the Task and click "Upload." Your photo will appear.

If your submission requires a description, the 2 boxes titled "Title of Recipe or Image" and "Description or Caption" will become active. Enter your title and description in the appropriate boxes and click the button that says "Save Details."

Repeat the photo upload and description steps above and click the "Submit" button beneath on the left. Note that your "Task Complete" box will be locked and display a picture of a clock, meaning your assessment is pending the grade from your instructor. Once your grade is returned, you will be able to check your "Task Complete" box.
