Welcome to your Rouxbe cooking course! This orientation is for the following courses:
- Budget Cooking
- Soup Basics
- The Main Dish
- Celebrate Plant-Based
- Intro to Chocolate
To find your course, Login to your dashboard. Then select the My Courses tab and scroll down until you see your course tile.
Getting Started — Click the Start Course bar and you’ll be taken to the Course Home View. If you are new to Rouxbe be sure to start with the Platform Tour to familiarize yourself with the course structure you’ll be working in.
When you’re ready, dive into Task 1. The first several tasks are text to help orient you. The course structure will walk you through everything else as you go! Remember, this is a self-paced course so you can begin and pause at any time.
You have lifetime access to your course, so you can take as long as you need to complete it.
Take a few minutes to define your goals — Tell us about your story. Login to your dashboard to complete these sections. We will do our best to help you reach the goals you’ve defined.
Add your profile picture HERE while you are logged in. Please use a real face photo!
Live Events — These events are intended to complement your course experience and are voluntary. If you cannot attend a live event, they will be recorded and available for archive viewing within a few hours. Access a live or recorded event by clicking the Live Events tab at the top right of your dashboard.
As a reminder, this course is self-paced and available to you 24/7—so you can begin and pause at any time.

Hello,
Thank you to the Rouxbe Instructors and Team for this clear orientation. I have successfully navigated to my course via the dashboard and completed the initial setup steps, including updating my profile picture with a real photo and defining my personal learning goals.
I appreciate that the structure is self-paced and offers 24/7 lifetime access, allowing me to fully absorb the material. I am also looking forward to utilizing the Live Events tab for both live and recorded sessions. Diving into Task 1 now!
